Yarn

Yarn: /yärn/ – Informal. A long, often elaborate narrative of real or fictitious adventures; an entertaining tale.

Yarn is creative writing application. It was the result of the work that my team and I did as part of our capstone project at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Madeira during Fall 2013.

My main responsibilities for the project were the interaction design of the application and coding the final prototype.

At the end of spring 2013 we finished our research and had produced four different concepts that we could pursue with our client, ultimately we decided to pursue a concept that would be exploring alternatives and diverging paths when writing a story.
